First and only No. 60 in team history, the lefthanded Schoeneweis arrived amid the acknowledgement that Omar Minaya had misjudged the market for relievers, though by the end of his first campaign it looked also like Omar had misread the market for talent as well. The Show bounced back some in 2008 but would be among the "addition by subtraction" sacrifices following that year.
